If you’re like me you’ve probably been hooked on the Peyongchang Winter Olympics. With the Paralympics soon to follow things start hotting up here in Buckinghamshire as we prepare to light the Heritage Flame at Stoke Mandeville Stadium.

The MK Winter Half is a December race that comes round every festive period. With not many races on the calendar at that time of year it’s a really good one to take note of and pop in your calendar.
Well if you’re reading this post you’ll see I have a new website! Until this point I just had social media accounts and a blog but no proper website. With subscribers, readers, followers & likers on multiple platforms it felt a bit like I might have all these friends in different places, who all have he same interests & would get on really well.

This would be my 5th London Marathon. As I arrived in Greenwich Park there was the sense of familiarity, knowing what to expect. I was going from the green start which is where I set off from for my first London Marathon. What a fantastic race!
This all starts at the race village outside the Madjeski Stadium in Reading where race sponsors Sweatshop & Mizuno were there in force selling kit at discounted prices.
If you love running and Formula 1 this race is definitely for you.
